The 1:10 Method is a revolutionary approach that allows brands to generate high-quality, diverse images efficiently and at scale. This method is particularly useful for industries where visual storytelling is key.
Why 1:10? The process is based on 1 creative concept to be declined into10 variations through only one tool. In this case study, we explore how this method was successfully applied to a travel brand facing challenges in content creation.
Challenges faced by the travel brand
The travel brand approached us with the following needs:
- Frequent content demand: Organizing real-world photoshoots across multiple global locations was time-consuming and expensive.
- Inspiring visuals: They aimed to captivate their audience with breathtaking landscapes and cultural experiences.
- Diverse image types: Needed food, people, and landscape imagery to fit various campaign needs.
They also had a high engagement requirement: looking for viral-worthy images to boost social media performance and interaction.
Implementation of the 1:10 Method
Using Pimento, the process followed a structured, iterative AI-powered workflow:
1. Creating an on-brand style
- We selected 15 reference visuals to reflect the brand’s artistic direction.
- The style was trained in 5 minutes, preparing the model for image generation, based on the brand's visual identity.
2. Prompt Engineering via Pimento Brief
3. Using the "Brief" feature in the Pimento tool, we generated over 40 visuals in seconds. Pimento created different prompt imputs based on our Brief to have a variety of featured images.

- “An aerial shot of the Great Barrier Reef, showcasing vibrant coral formations and the diverse marine life thriving in the azure waters.”
- “A bustling street market in Marrakech at sunset, with colorful stalls and vibrant energy capturing the essence of Moroccan culture.”
- “A peaceful scene of the cherry blossom festival in Kyoto, with petals gently falling and people picnicking under the trees.”
4. Refinement & Iteration
5. When the brand needed more precise visuals, we fine-tunedthe brief and generated additional images depending on their demand. If they loved a particular image but wanted small adjustments, we used the variation tool to make targeted refinements.

6. The variation tool helps to make targeted refinements (e.g., replacing penguins with a polar bear, see blue brush in the indicated replacement area).
7. Final selection
The travel brand ended up selecting over 50 high-quality images for their marketing campaigns. This included a mix of landscape shots, cultural moments, food imagery, and people-focused visuals.
Results and Impact
- Time Efficiency: Saved weeks of production time.
- Cost Reduction: No need for costly on-location shoots.
- Content Diversity: Rich image variety for marketing use.
- Higher Engagement: Boosted social media performance with fresh content.
